Go RVing Launches Year-Long ‘RV-2-50’ Road Trip Campaign
Go RVing, the RV industry’s voice for inspiration, education and storytelling, announced the launch of its year-long road trip campaign, RV-2-50, leading up to America’s 250th birthday on July 4, 2026.
RV-2-50 offers curated road trip itineraries designed to help travelers experience the freedom and adventure of RVing while exploring destinations that helped shape the nation.
Every month through July 2026, Go RVing will unveil expertly-drafted road trip itineraries that highlight America’s past and diverse present that travelers can complete in a long weekend, a few weeks or over several months. Each route features historic landmarks, regional celebrations, cultural attractions and RV-friendly campgrounds. The first three itineraries explore regions surrounding Washington, D.C., the American West’s iconic national parks and Hollywood Sign, the quirky Spaceship Water Tower in the Midwest, and the powerful National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis, Tennessee.
“RV travel has become the quintessential American travel experience because it offers the comfort and flexibility to explore everything just beyond your door,” said Monika Geraci, spokesperson for Go RVing and the RV Industry Association. “RV-2-50 is more than a series of road trips — it’s a celebration of what makes this country so special. Whether you’re uncovering hidden gems, visiting iconic landmarks or simply gathering around the campfire with loved ones, RVing gives you the freedom to experience America on your own terms.”
Additional itineraries, travel challenges and ways to join the RV-2-50 celebration will be shared on Go RVing’s social media channels, email newsletter and website. Organizations interested in having their destination or Semiquincentennial event featured can reach out to Monika Geraci at mgeraci@rvia.org.
