Heartland Offers First ‘Full-Color’ Fiberglass Exterior

Heartland RV’s Fairfield destination trailer line will introduce its first-ever “full color” fiberglass exterior as part of this week’s Elkhart County RV Open House in northern Indiana.

The “full-color” exterior features upgraded high-gloss laminated fiberglass sidewalls complemented by a fully painted atrium design fiberglass cap.

“It’s a dramatic change, and really sets us apart from the competition,” said Nick Eppert, noting the Fairfield is still available as a traditionally built, aluminum-sided trailer.

Heartland also enhanced Fairfield’s interior decors by adding new furniture designs and updated countertops, flooring and bedroom treatments.

“We understand where the destination trailer market is going,” said Chris Hermon, Heartland president. “I am pleased with our new aggressive look and styling in the Fairfield. We are very serious about destination trailers at Heartland and our dealers will be able to see that during this year’s Open House.”

The Fairfield lineup is being offered in six models, including the all-new 406FK featuring “the perfect combination of a front kitchen and a bunk house,” said Eppert. All Fairfield units will continue to utilize wide-body construction with eight-foot sidewalls and a standard atrium design fiberglass cap. In addition, floorplans are equipped with several residential appointments including a freestanding range, 18-cubic-foot refrigerator and microwave.

Eppert reported that dealers are energized about the “full color” exterior for the new model year.

“Wilkins RV picked up the Fairfield late last year at our Bath and Churchville, N.Y., locations,” says Brian Wilkins, president. “Over this past year, our destination trailer sales have exceeded not only our previous year’s sales but also our own aggressive expectations. With better product and more models coming this fall, Wilkins RV’s expectations for next year’s destination trailer sales are even higher.”
