IOH, OHI Partner on Campground & RV Park Marketing Platform
Influence Outdoor Hospitality (IOH) announced the launch of a new digital marketing platform designed specifically for campground and RV park operators, developed in partnership with Outdoor Hospitality Industry (OHI).
Built from the ground up for the outdoor hospitality industry, the platform moves beyond traditional marketing metrics like impressions and clicks to focus on what matters most to operators: real bookings, real revenue and clear accountability.
Through this partnership, OHI members receive a 10% DISCOUNT on managed services for PPC PMAX, along with priority access and preferred onboarding to the new system, IOH said.
“For too long, campground owners have been forced to rely on generic marketing models that don’t reflect how their businesses actually operate,” said David Basler, chief strategy officer at OHI. “IOH built something specifically for campgrounds — something that ties marketing directly to reservations and revenue. That level of accountability is exactly what our members deserve.”
Unlike traditional digital marketing models that focus on vanity metrics, IOH’s approach connects marketing performance directly to reservations and revenue, the company said. At the center of the platform is SIGNAL, a proprietary attribution system that ties campground PMS booking and revenue data back to each campaign, giving operators clear visibility into what’s actually generating business.
The solution combines three core components:
- Pulse+ Enhanced Google Business Profile optimization is designed to increase high-intent traveler discovery.
- Campground-Specific Performance Max Campaigns Paid media strategies built and trained on campground traveler behavior.
- SIGNAL Reporting End-to-end revenue attribution across every marketing channel.
IOH assembled a team of elite search and attribution experts — including former Google executives — to develop a smarter marketing foundation tailored specifically to campground traveler behavior. Campaigns are guided by experienced strategists rather than automation alone, IOH said, enabling ongoing optimization and smarter budget allocation.
“As traveler expectations and digital behaviors continue to evolve, campground operators need marketing partners who truly understand the industry,” said Josh Richardson, founder and managing partner at Influence Outdoor Hospitality. “When OHI approached us with the challenge of helping campgrounds market themselves more effectively — and prove that marketing is actually driving revenue — we set out to build a solution designed specifically for outdoor hospitality. We’re proud to launch this platform alongside OHI and make it accessible to their members.”
The partnership between IOH and OHI establishes what both organizations see as a new foundation for campground marketing heading into 2026.
