Lippert Encourages Participation in National Volunteer Week
For the fourth year in a row, Lippert has announced that it is encouraging its team members to participate in National Volunteer Week. The company said it’s a way for employees to give back to their communities while exploring the “why” behind their service.
From April 18th through the 20th, Lippert team members will take part in a three-day Pack-Out event organized at the Elkhart County Fairgrounds, where 108,000 essential food items, school supplies and toiletry items will be boxed and distributed to local schools and nonprofits. This year’s beneficiaries include the Boys & Girls Club of Elkhart and St. Joseph Counties, La Casa de Amistad, the Food Bank of Northern Indiana and seven schools within Elkhart and St. Joseph Counties.
Taking it a step further, Lippert’s unified global team will be participating in their own Volunteer Week activities, extending the impact of team members’ contributions far beyond Elkhart County.
With a full year of volunteer opportunities planned that challenge team members to explore their “why”, Lippert’s initiative to use business as a force for good continues to lay the foundation for bringing communities together to serve a greater good.
The pack-out times for local Lippert team members are Tuesday and Thursday from 4-6 PM and Wednesday from 4:30-6:30. Please contact Michilah Grimes at michilahg@lci1.com with any questions.
