Meyer Distributing Promotes Several in Sales Department

Meyer Distributing announced several new promotions in its sales department.

First, Meyer promoted Ben Johnson to director of sales – RV, Trailer, Towing and Marine. Johnson has been with Meyer for six years and eight months working in inside sales. Cody Ziegler, vice president of sales for Meyer, has nothing but praise for Johnson, while Johnson wants to emphasize his growth and the company’s role in it.

“Ben started in the sales department with Meyer six-plus years ago as an inside sales account manager,” said Ziegler. “Ben is a critical thinker and has proven his ability to do what it takes to succeed. We look forward to his leadership and contributions!”

Reflecting on his journey, Johnson added, “I am thankful for the opportunity I have been given with Meyer. This family-owned company has given me the ability to do more than I could have anywhere else. I am eager to continue driving improvements and better serve our customers every day!”

Next up, Brittany Hall has been promoted to sales category manager – RV. Formerly the traditional accessory assistant sales manager, she has been in inside sales for two years and 11 months. Previously mentioned Johnson is confident in her ability to take on the new role.

“Brittany has impacted many dealers within the RV industry in a positive way through Meyer,” said Johnson. “She has always been driven to find solutions and build lasting relationships with the dealers she serves. Brittany doesn’t just deserve the role – she will excel at this role!”

In response, Hall said, “This is an exciting time not just for myself, but for the growth of Meyer! I’m ready to hit the ground running, and I look forward to what the future holds!”

Hagen

Meyer would also like to announce the promotion of Jason Hagen, previously an assistant category manager, to sales category manager – Towing and Trailer. Johnson has high expectations for Jason’s future at the company, while Hagen is filled with gratitude and enthusiasm for his new role.

“Jason Hagen has proven his dedication and passion to the industries that Meyer serves,” said Johnson. “As our trailer and towing manager, Jason will help deliver excellence to every dealer Meyer touches!”

Hagen said, “I am honored to accept this promotion, and I am extremely excited about the opportunity to further contribute to the success of Meyer Distributing in my new capacity. This promotion is a testament to the amazing team and supportive environment here at Meyer. I look forward to the opportunities ahead and the continued growth of Meyer Distributing.”

Lastly, Chauncey Altstadt has been promoted to sales category manager – Commercial/Fleet/Snow and Ice. Previously an assistant category manager, she has been with Meyer for two years and two months. Joel Terwiske is pleased with the work Altstadt has done in her current role, and they both look forward to the future of the Commercial category.

“Chauncey Altstadt’s promotion to Commercial/Fleet/Snow & Ice manager is well deserved,” said Terwiske, director of sales – Automotive. “In two years, she has proven that hard work and dedication can lead to success. We’re excited for what the future holds in the Commercial segment in 2025 and beyond!”

Altstadt said, “I am grateful for this opportunity with Meyer Distributing as the new Category Manager for Commercial/Fleet/Snow & Ice. I am thrilled to be given this opportunity to advance and grow within our company. I want to express my appreciation for my team’s support. Together, we will continue to drive success into 2025!”
