A new website, WIKIRecreation.com, is geared toward outdoor recreation enthusiasts. According to its founders, WIKIRecreation is designed to be a search engine that will help users find anything related to outdoor recreation: RV dealers, campgrounds, national and state parks, boat dealers, and businesses and sites related to boating, hunting, fishing, skiing and the like.
For a limited time, all U.S.-based recreational-related businesses, including RV dealerships, may join and add their listing for free. Businesses may choose to show up locally within their state or may choose national exposure too.
Wiki Recreation is a privately held company that operates on a search platform provided by the team at Yabsta. Its CEO, JoAnn Weeks, has been in the digital industry for more than 20 years.
“The timing is perfect,” said Weeks. “With the COVID virus keeping people from traveling by air, the RV and outdoor recreation industry is exploding with new sales and rentals. I wanted a destination search engine for all recreational businesses including vehicles, RVs, boats, ATVs, motorcycles, products, brand names and services that will get our end users outdoors.”
