The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has issued the following weekly vehicular recalls:
Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain 2016-2019 Ram 3500, Ram 1500, 2016-2020 Ram 2500, and 2016 Ram 3500 Cab Chassis vehicles. The right and left side curtain air bag inflators may rupture due to a manufacturing defect. FCA’s numbers for this recall are 05C, 09C, and 10C.
Forest River is recalling certain 2025 East to West Ahara fifth wheel trailers. The water heater exhaust is ventilated directly under the slideroom, allowing carbon monoxide to enter the vehicle. Forest River’s number for this recall is 503-1887.
Forest River Bus is recalling certain 2023-2024 Starcraft Starlite and 2023 Allstar transit buses. The emergency exit handles and labels are not easily accessible which can prevent or delay the exit of passengers in the event of an emergency. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 217, “Bus Emergency Exits and Window Retention and Release.” Forest River’s number for this recall is 05-1890.
