Oscar Mayer is offering a solution to San Francisco’s sold-out hotel rooms during the Super Bowl: a fully loaded hot dog RV, affectionately deemed the Wienie-Bago. But fans in need of lodging can’t make reservations – the weekend Wienie-Bago experience is being auctioned off to the highest bidder, with all proceeds benefitting charity.
If small, customized living spaces are all the rage, the Wienie-Bago Class C brings the extra mustard. With enough room to sleep four, a kitchenette stocked with beverages and snacks, including plenty of Oscar Mayer products, and the chance to relax and see the city in the Wienermobile-turned-living room next door, the Wienie-Bago offers a fun, all-American alternative to sold out local hotels.
Fans can bid on the auction by visiting www.wieniebago.com between Tuesday, Jan. 26 and Sunday, Jan. 31. The highest bidder will win the Wienie-Bago for the weekend in San Francisco, and all proceeds from the winning bid will benefit Stop Hunger Now, a nonprofit organization that strives to end international hunger by providing food and aid to individuals in need. The folks at Oscar Mayer will also match the winning bid, up to $10,000.
