PRVCA Partners with RVTI
The Pennsylvania RV & Camping Association (PRVCA) has finalized its partnership with the RV Technical Institute to become an RVTI Authorized Learning Partner. The partnership will allow PRVCA to train RV technicians using the only industry-wide curriculum and training program developed by the Institute with the help of subject matter experts across the RV industry.
“PRVCA is looking forward to our relationship with the RV Technical Institute as a training partner,” said PRVCA Executive Director Heather Leach. “Part of PRVCA’s mission is to be a leader in education and this partnership will enable us to increase our training offerings and help technicians on the path to certification.”
The partnership is the latest move by PRVCA to focus on training. These efforts also included hiring experienced RV trainer Greg Dewalt into a newly created role of education director earlier this year. Dewalt will provide hands-on training and support to RV technicians looking to obtain Level 1 to Level 4 Master Technician credentials from RVTI.
“Education and training are the cornerstones of excellence in providing a positive customer experience and building a stronger business,” said Dewalt. “Training not only improves employees’ skills and knowledge, but also demonstrates the value of our employees and invests in their future as leaders. Partnering with the Institute allows us to provide our members with technician training to assist them in meeting their business goals.”
“This partnership is a great opportunity for not only the RV Technical Institute and PRVCA but all of the RV technicians who will receive training on the only industry-wide recognized certification as a result of the partnership,” said RV Technical Institute Executive Director, Curt Hemmeler. “State RV associations are the perfect partners for the Institute with their extensive relationships with RV dealers and technicians as well as their dedication to training and improving the RV industry in their states. I am confident that this partnership with PRVCA will be the roadmap for partnerships with more state associations.”
The RV Technical Institute’s Authorized Learning Partner program is a network of regional training partners approved to deliver the Institute’s standardized training on a local or regional basis.
