RVDA Con/Expo Session To Spotlight Consumer Buying Trends

2026 RVDA Convention Save the Date

An education session at the upcoming RV Dealers Convention/Expo in Las Vegas will deliver a data-backed roadmap to help forward-thinking dealers get ahead of the latest consumer buying trends.

Speakers Juliana Baena, director of OEM and strategic Initiatives at RV Trader, Shannon Pinto, vice president of Statistical Surveys Inc., Steven Hileman, vice president of client solutions at Element Three, and Ricky Chynoweth, national sales director at Campers Inn RV will present “Fix the Funnel: What 2026 Buyers Are Telling You to Change” at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, in the Champagne 4 room as part of the Dealer/GM track of sessions.

Powered by exclusive insights from RV Trader and industry-leading retail registration data from Statistical Surveys Inc., the session will break down the most important consumer trends shaping 2026 and what they signal for the road ahead.

The session moves in three parts: a state-of-the-industry read from Statistical Surveys’ retail registration data, the shopper insights behind those numbers from RV Trader’s marketplace and consumer research, and a practical discussion of how dealers can put both to work in their 2027 planning.

Chynoweth brings the view from the dealership floor at Campers Inn RV, and Hileman the marketing perspective from Element Three, putting the data to the test against what’s happening on the lot.

Learning objectives for this session include:

  • Identify and interpret the key consumer trends shaping the first half of 2026 and assess their impact on your dealership.
  • Pinpoint friction points in today’s RV purchase journey and implement strategies to create a more seamless buying experience.
  • Translate 2026 market data into actionable insights that inform and strengthen your 2027 planning process.
  • Leverage insights from RV Trader and Statistical Surveys’ consumer trend report, along with proprietary research, to evaluate dealership performance, and guide individual business planning.

Baena will build on the findings the following morning in “Dealership Marketing Attribution That Actually Generates Buyers,” at 8 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, as part of the Digital Marketing track.
