Questions Sought for National RV Consumer COVID-19 Survey

Representatives from BowStern Marketing Communications say they have begun writing the 2020 RV Consumer Survey surrounding COVID-19 and the pandemic’s impact on consumer intentions. The company says the survey is intended to gather feedback on RV consumers’ travel and purchase decisions. Industry leaders and businesses who are interested in this survey can submit questions until June 1. The online survey is set to launch on June 15.

“Our team has extensive experience marketing to RV consumers, but we understand that both the industry and the consumer are constantly evolving because of this pandemic,” said Tom Derzypolski, president and co-founder of BowStern. “Given the nature of COVID-19, we believe the RV lifestyle might be the safest way to explore and enjoy life – but we are not going to guess. This survey will provide us with the most current data about consumer intentions and desires and will influence strategic marketing recommendations for our clients. This approach not only ensures that our tactics are effective but also helps us be good stewards of our clients’ marketing budgets.”

Resorts, campgrounds, manufactures, dealers, and suppliers are encouraged to submit questions for inclusion in the survey. Questions may range from travel intentions and planning to safeguards consumers may be looking for from the industry – and everything in-between.

To encourage strong participation, the survey will be limited to 20 questions. To submit a question for consideration in this 2020 study, email the request to Tom Derzypolski at tom@bowstern.com.
