Registration is now open for the 2027 session of the George O’Leary National School of Outdoor Hospitality, the Outdoor Hospitality Industry’s premier professional development program for RV park and campground leaders.
The program will take place Feb. 21–26, 2027, in Wheeling, West Virginia.
The National School is OHI’s exclusive two-year leadership development program for RV park and campground professionals. It combines practical learning, real-world application and industry connections to help participants grow from confidently managing daily operations to strategically leading successful businesses, across two progressive levels of study.
Outdoor Hospitality Manager (OHM), Year 1 – is focused on running the operation, covering leadership and team development, operations excellence, guest experience, financial fundamentals, marketing, technology and AI, and risk management and safety. It’s built for new and current managers, supervisors, department leaders and owners who want to strengthen operational performance and build leadership confidence.
Outdoor Hospitality Professional (OHP), Year 2 – is focused on leading the business, covering strategic and financial leadership, data-driven decision making, capital planning and business growth, brand strategy, business continuity and risk management, and innovation. It’s built for experienced managers, owners and organizational leaders ready to move from running the operation to leading the business. OHP requires completion of the OHM program.

Tuition is all-inclusive and includes either the Outdoor Hospitality Manager (OHM) or Outdoor Hospitality Professional (OHP) program, five nights of lodging at Oglebay Park Resort, breakfast, lunch and dinner (Sunday evening through Thursday evening), coffee, soft drinks and snacks throughout the week, and networking events and program activities. Professionals seeking employer support to attend can also find ready-to-use email templates to help outline the value the school will bring to their outdoor hospitality business.
