RVDA of Canada Closely Monitoring COVID Rise
As cases of COVID-19 resurge across Canada and many parts of the country have entered the second phase of the pandemic, the RV Dealers Association of Canada said it remains focused to ensure that its members receive the support they need to bridge the gap to recovery.
“During the reopening phase we have strongly advocated for continuous support for businesses and workers. In the lead-up to the Throne Speech, RVDA of Canada
recommended that the federal government extend critical measures such as the Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy and the Canada Emergency Business Account, and these were both addressed by the government earlier last month,” the organization said. “We remain in constant contact with the federal and provincial governments while they continue exploring the next phase of economic support.”
Canada Emergency Rent Subsidy and the Business Credit Availability Program are two other tools that RVDA of Canada said it will urge the government to use if necessary.
