RVIA Recognizes Companies Named Newsweek’s ‘Most Responsible’

The RV Industry Association (RVIA) congratulated THOR Industries, Winnebago Industries and Lippert for their inclusion on Newsweek’s prestigious America’s Most Responsible Companies list.

The list, created by Newsweek and Statista, recognizes 600 U.S.-based companies for their commitment to making a positive global impact. Those on the list were chosen from the 2,000 largest publicly traded companies headquartered in the U.S., and each winner received scores based on environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) concerns.

These three scores were combined to assess the company’s overall corporate social responsibility score. The analysis is based on data from 30 key performance indicators, such as energy usage and charitable donations, as well as a reputation survey of more than 26,000 U.S. consumers.

THOR Industries, Winnebago Industries and Lippert all expressed their appreciation of the recognition and their continued dedication to making a positive impact on their communities.

“At Winnebago industries, our commitment to support our communities, protect the environment and enable accessibility and inclusion in the outdoors is a part of our DNA,” said Winnebago Industries President and CEO Michael Happe. “We are proud to accept this award on behalf of our employees who work every day to ensure we live our values: Do the right thing, put people first, and be the best, and who continue to move our corporate responsibility commitments forward in a meaningful way.”

“It is an incredible honor to be recognized by Newsweek as one of America’s Most Responsible Companies,” says Jason Lippert, president and CEO of Lippert. “This achievement is a testament to the unwavering commitment of our entire Lippert team, who work tirelessly every day to make a positive impact in our communities, for our customers, and on the environment. At Lippert, we believe that business can and should be a force for good, and this recognition reflects the heart and soul of the people behind our brands. We are humbled and inspired to continue this journey together.”
