Multiple RV Makers Announce Recalls

Multiple RV manufacturers announced recalls with the U.S. Department of Transportation National Highway Traffic Safety Administration this week. Among them:

  • Thor is recalling certain 2020 Chateau, Daybreak, Four Winds, Freedom Elite, Majestic, Outlaw and Quantum motorhomes. The NHTSA says loose battery cables may cause fires.
  • Jayco is recalling select 2019 Embark models. Steering shaft bolts may be improperly tightened. Jayco also is recalling certain 2019-2020 Eagle HT models for incorrect bolt lengths for the rotating pin box.
  • Entegra is recalling certain 2019-2020 Anthem, Inspire, Cornerstone, Insignia and Reatta motorhomes for possible loose power steering mounting bolts.
  • Forest River Coachmen is recalling 2020 Catalina models. The NHTSA says the upper bunk may collapse.
