Storyteller Overland Introduces the GXV EPIC

Storyteller Overland, manufacturer of Class B RV adventure vans and off-grid expedition vehicles, recently introduced its new overlanding vehicle, the GXV EPIC.

“The EPIC is designed to outlast the elements, offering everything you need to venture beyond the frontier in comfortable luxury, completely self-sustained and off-grid,” Storyteller Overland said.
The GXV EPIC, which attendees at Overland Expo West were able to view in person, is built on the Kenworth K-370 chassis with a Cummins 6.7L diesel motor, Allison 3500 HD transmission and features Storyteller’s exclusive 4×4 conversion with true locking front and rear.
The GXV EPIC is equipped with King shocks, Alcoa rims, 44-inch Goodyear tires and a 200-gallon aluminum diesel fuel tank, which the company said provides a range of up to 1800 miles on one fuel tank. It also features a Mastervolt Electrical System with marine-grade wiring, a 4500W inverter and solar power and is fully insulated with dual-pane glass windows and 60-milimeter wall panels.
Its bathroom offers a sink with a full-width vanity, a mirrored medicine cabinet, a Thetford Cassette Toilet, an Aquahot heating system and handcrafted cabinetry. The bedroom features a queen-size mattress and a large opening skylight for views of the night sky. There is also space for an onboard Splendide Combo Washer/Dryer.
The kitchen comes complete with the cooking comforts of home — stainless steel sink, Vitrifrigo marine-grade two-door refrigerator/freezer, Kenyon Silken dual burner cooktop and a Contoure convection/microwave oven. Nearby is a dinette that seats four comfortably and converts to a full-sized bed at night.
“We believe in creating access for everyone,” said David Schriber, Storyteller’s chief brand officer, “and now from global exploration trucks to a rooftop tent, we are making good on it.”
