SylvanSport announced a partnership with Goal Zero, a supplier of portable power solutions, to offer the Sunny Side Up, a solar-powered kit that allows GO owners to ‘cut the cord’ from the grid.

The Sunny Side Up is designed and engineered to integrate seamlessly with SylvanSport’s GO as part of Goal Zero’s Solar Ready Program. Combining the solar harnessing technology by Goal Zero with SylvanSport’s innovative camping trailer, the Sunny Side Up brings “off the grid” power to the world of lightweight, mobile adventure travel.

“The collaboration between SylvanSport and Goal Zero has created a unique and exciting product,” Goal Zero Director of Marketing James Atkin said. “The Sunny Side Up kit embodies our initiative to empower people everywhere they go, helping them get outside and stay outside longer.”

At the core of the system is Goal Zero’s Yeti 400 Solar Generator. With enough power for base camps, cabins and unexpected outages, the Goal Zero Yeti 400 is fitted with two USB ports, a 12-volt plugin and a pair of AC outlets.

The Yeti 400 operates noise and fume-free, and can be used inside the GO or stored during travel in the waterproof storage box on the custom-mounting tray.

Power is collected through a pair of Goal Zero Boulder 30 Solar Panels that mount to the crossbars of the GO. With mounting hardware designed specifically for the GO, the Boulder 30 Panels fit below the bars to allow for full use of roof rack accessories and can be removed for storage, cleaning or alternate placement once at camp. The panels are able to continually charge the Goal Zero Yeti 400 whether set up in the GO or in the storage box during travel.

The Goal Zero Light-A-Life 350 LED Light rounds out the kit. Able to run off of the Goal Zero Yeti 400 or its own rechargeable battery, the Light-A-Life is designed to light up the GO.

“The concept for the Sunny Side Up has been brewing for a long time and we couldn’t be happier with the final product and our partnership with Goal Zero,” SylvanSport President Tom Dempsey said. “The mission of our respective companies and our commitment to design and quality are a great fit and our products work so well together.”

The Sunny Side Up solar kit is available online for $1,299.00 at SylvanSport.com.
