Terex Renovates Decatur, Indiana, RV Service & Repair Center
The Recreational Vehicles segment of Terex Corporation recently renovated and enhanced its primary service center in Decatur, Indiana. The improvements made over the past year were designed to strengthen customer service, improve operations and modernize the facility where they service its American Coach, Fleetwood RV and Holiday Rambler models, as well as other brands.

The customer experience team has been relocated to the Decatur service center, at 1420 Patterson Street, creating closer collaboration with service advisors and technicians, Terex said. Having the team on-site allows customers to connect directly with representatives who can assist with warranty questions, service coordination and product support.
The renovation created private consultation offices with glass walls where customers can meet with service advisors and customer support staff. The customer check-in area was redesigned and clearly labeled to aid in the arrival process.
“It was important to our team to prioritize customer comfort and privacy with the upgrades made to our facility,” said Jeremy Slinker, director of customer and product support for the Recreational Vehicles segment of Terex Corporation. “We often have customers who stay on the property while their vehicles are being serviced, so it only made sense for us to pour most of our resources into making those stays comfortable for them.”
Customers who stay with their vehicles during service are there from one day to a week, depending on the level of service needed, Terex said. The facility provides 42 free camping spots with 50-amp electrical service for customers whose RVs are being serviced. Additional amenities include water and dumping stations; restroom and laundry facilities with new washer/dryer units for customer use; and customer workstations. The service center now offers improved waiting areas on both the main and upper levels. A new entertainment system with a 100-inch TV and surround sound was added to enhance the customer lounge.
When overnight service is needed, the center provides convenient lodging options nearby, including discounted hotel accommodations and transportation, Terex said. For those flying in or out of Decatur, the center also offers transportation assistance to and from the Fort Wayne, Indiana, airport.
The center has 26 service bays, 12 paint bays and the ability to service a multitude of manufacturers’ brands and between 80 and 100 customers in a week, depending on demand. To schedule an appointment, customers can fill out an inquiry form online here.
