Three-Alarm Fire Seriously Damages Fresno, Calif., Dealership

Paul Evert’s RV Country in Fresno, Calif., was seriously damaged when a fire broke out Tuesday evening, according to the Visalia Times-Delta.

“It’s probably in the multi-millions,” Capt. Jeremiah Wittwer of Fresno County told the newspaper. “In the building itself, everything inside is a complete loss.”

A motorist spotted smoke coming from the well-known Valley RV dealership, located at 3633 S. Maple Ave, off Highway 99. The motorist drove into the lot and let employees know, according to the newspaper.

Employees grabbed fire extinguishers and tried to put out the fire. But the flames were spreading out of control.

When crews arrived, the building was heavily engulfed in flames. A second alarm was called for support, the newspaper reported.
