Campers Inn RV Launches “Right by You” Promise
Campers Inn RV announced “Right by you,” a promise that defines how the company treats every customer, team member and partner across its nearly 50 locations. The promise rests on four commitments: being thoughtful, creating rewarding experiences, helping people find what is right for them and doing the right thing, Campers Inn said in a recent press release.
The promise covers the full RV experience: how the company prices, how it sells, how it services and how it stands behind a customer after the sale. The first public proof point is now live on campersinn.com, where every advertised RV shows the key numbers behind its price. More will follow in the sales process, the service drive and ownership support.
The company’s commitment to customer experience is already being recognized within the RV industry. Campers Inn RV recently received the inaugural RVBusiness Sherman Goldenberg Award for Customer Service, the company said, recognizing the company’s commitment to putting customers at the center of the RV experience.
“Clear pricing is where the whole industry is headed, and it should be. That’s the easy part,” said Ben Hirsch, chief operating officer of Campers Inn RV. “‘Right by you’ is the harder commitment: listening before we recommend, telling a customer when the unit they came in for is the wrong one and being there after the sale when the roof leaks. My grandparents ran this business that way from day one. We’re putting it in writing and holding ourselves to it in every store.”
First Proof Point: Upfront Pricing

Clearer pricing is becoming the expectation across the RV industry, and Campers Inn RV supports that shift, the company said. Campers Inn’s new model displays the applicable pricing components directly on each online RV listing, including:
- Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price
- Sale price
- Freight
- Documentation fee
- Available dealer finance incentives
- Estimated monthly payment with approved financing
- Estimated total cost with approved financing
- Price without a finance incentive for customers who choose not to finance
Government-mandated taxes, title and registration costs are not included because they vary based on the customer, transaction and state requirements. Financing examples are subject to approved credit and the terms disclosed on the listing.
The goal is simple: Customers should understand how an advertised price is built before they visit a dealership, and they should never have to ask for the numbers.
What It Means To Be “Right by You”
Being thoughtful means taking the time to listen.
No two customers, families or journeys are exactly alike. Campers Inn RV said it asks questions, pays attention and offers guidance based on what matters to the person in front of them. The company brings that same care to its team members by helping them build the knowledge, confidence and skills to serve others well.
That commitment to learning is built into the company’s culture. Every Campers Inn RV employee participates in monthly Customer Experience training, creating a consistent, company-wide focus on how customers are treated at every point of their journey. The training reinforces the behaviors and standards behind “Right by you” and ensures that customer experience is not limited to the sales floor — it is something every employee has a role in delivering.
A rewarding experience should feel good from beginning to end.
Buying or owning an RV should be exciting — not confusing or filled with second-guessing. Campers Inn RV said it works to replace uncertainty with clarity, pressure with support and frustration with confidence. That promise extends to everyone the company works with, including customers, team members and partners.
Finding the right fit matters more than simply making a sale.
The right RV is the one that fits a customer’s life, needs and goals. Campers Inn RV’s responsibility is to help each customer find it, even if that takes more time, more questions or a different recommendation than expected, the company said. Campers Inn takes the same approach with its people and partners by building relationships meant to last.
Doing the right thing should never depend on who is watching.
Campers Inn RV said it believes in being straightforward, keeping its word and caring for people long after the sale. It is how the company approaches pricing, service and every decision in between. That commitment is grounded in the values that have guided Campers Inn RV for generations: Integrity, Teamwork, Continuous Improvement and Sustainability.
The new pricing experience is another way Campers Inn RV is bringing those promises to life, giving customers clearer information, fewer surprises and greater confidence from the moment they begin shopping. Pricing is the first of several changes tied to the promise.
“Pricing is just the first thing customers can check,” Hirsch said. “The rest they’ll see when they walk in.”
