According to a recent article by Gordon White in Truck Camper Magazine Go RVing campaigns have “snubbed” the truck camper segment.
After an in-depth look of video, print, and social media campaigns in 2017, the article’s author draws on several examples on how truck campers are being overlooked in the main press. Cited are two articles by RV PRO where we report on low truck camper numbers. One of the articles found in the August 2017 issue can be read here.
White also points out how a recent RVIA report on 2016’s RV shipments inaccurately represented truck camper sales at 3,200 a year when the unit sales, according to the article, are more than 7,000.
