Unified Marine Inc. is pleased to announce the opening of its newest facility in Bonita Springs, Fla. The new facility will be a base of operations for a new research and design department as well as a quality control testing center.
The new research and design department will be dedicated to developing new and exciting technologies for the marine and trailer industries, according to the company. Unified Marine said the quality control testing center will continue the high standards of rigorous product testing that have become a standard for products released under UMI brands.
The new 2,000-square-foot facility in Bonita Springs marks the third new facility for Unified Marine since 2006. Unified Marine opened a 40,000-square-foot headquarters in Newport, Tenn., in 2006. The opening of a second 20,000-square-foot warehouse in 2009 just a few miles down the road soon followed this.
“We are extremely pleased to announce the opening of our new Bonita Springs facility," said David Nirenberg, CEO of Unified Marine. “This new location will allow us to continue the industry-leading innovation and quality control standards that have made UMI the most trusted name in the marine and trailer industries for over a quarter of a century.”
