Daimler Trucks North America is recalling certain 2016-2019 Freightliner Custom Chassis Corp. XBR, XBS, XCR, XCM, XCL, and XCS recreation vehicle chassis, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
The rear mounted Power Distribution Module may have been damaged during manufacturing, possibly resulting in the rear marker lights, brake lights, or turn signals not functioning. Nonfunctioning lights can increase the risk of a crash.
A total of 12,311 vehicles are being recalled
The remedy for this recall is still under development. The recall is expected to begin Oct. 29. Owners may contact DTNA customer service at 1-800-547-0712. DTNA’s number for this recall is FL788.
