The Timken Co. has launched five new “Tricks of the Trade” videos focusing on commercial and light vehicles.
“Tricks of the Trade” videos are automotive training tips provided by Timken to automotive technicians and students in the field. Each video has a corresponding “TechTip” that can be printed. The new videos cover the following topics:
- Symptoms of Worn Commercial Vehicle Hub Bearings – This video can help you identify signs and symptoms of worn wheel hub bearings.
- Identifying Wheel End Systems –This video can help you determine the appropriate wheel end system and tips for proper bearing adjustment.
- Monitoring Wheel End Setting in Adjustable Wheel Bearing Systems – This video can help you understand how to maintain proper bearing setting in adjustable wheel bearing systems.
- Lubricating Wheel End Bearings – This video will show you how to pack wheel bearings with grease – by hand and with a mechanical grease packer.
- Tracking Down Wheel Noise – Checking a Hub Bearing Assembly – This video provides tips to help you recognize common causes of wheel noise. Understanding wheel end noises can help you diagnose hub bearing issues.
