2026 RV PRO RVeterans Honoree Josh Miller

OEM Sales Manager, RV; Dragonfly Energy; 25 years in the industry

For over 25 years, Josh Miller has been at the center of the RV world’s evolving power systems, aiding manufacturers making the transition from traditional lead-acid batteries to advanced lithium technology. Today, as OEM sales manager, RV, at Dragonfly Energy, he has become a trusted voice guiding manufacturers through that transformation.

Josh works directly with leading OEMs to integrate lithium battery power into their RV platforms. His role bridges engineering, sales and customer experience, supporting manufacturers from initial concept through production and implementation.

But this seasoned veteran’s impact extends beyond technical integration.

He often travels on-site to troubleshoot systems, educate teams and ensure manufacturing partners are fully confident in the products they are adopting. Whether speaking at trade shows, dealer meetings or factory training sessions, Josh helps manufacturers understand how lithium batteries work and why they matter.

His ability to simplify complex technology and build trust has helped accelerate lithium adoption across the RV market during a period of major industry change.

Josh also plays a critical role in guiding OEMs through supply chain challenges by maintaining consistent communication between customers and internal teams to align production, demand and delivery expectations in a fast-moving market.

Since joining Dragonfly Energy in 2021, Josh has transformed the company from a retail-focused brand into a growing force in the OEM market. During his tenure, the company’s OEM channel expanded and now represents over 60% of company revenue.

Having spent decades in electrical distribution and the RV supplier network before embracing lithium power systems, Josh brings deep institutional knowledge and forward-looking perspective to the industry. His credibility and long-standing relationships within the tightly connected Elkhart, Indiana, RV community have opened the doors of innovation and boosted confidence in lithium power.

What it means to Josh to work in the RV industry this long:

I entered the gates of the sprawling RV OEM supply space in 1997 from outside of Elkhart County and quickly learned that this industry is remarkably rewarding, demanding, fast-paced and incredibly tight-knit. The years have flown by! I’ve had the good fortune to work with people at every level of the OEM side of the business and have been fortunate to learn from each one something I’ve been able to use both professionally and personally. Looking back nearly 30 years, I’m humbled and blessed for every opportunity this industry has provided my family and me.

Josh’s advice for younger people just starting their careers:

For those energetic young RV professionals, I’d offer one piece of advice: Listen. Regardless of what position you are employed in this wildly diverse, nimble and large yet close-knit industry, someone will give you the key to a long, rewarding and successful career.
