Maine’s Largest RV and Camping Show to Stay in Auburn After Years in Portland

The 18th annual show was hosted by the arena back in April, after a two-year hiatus during the pandemic. Prior to 2018, the show had always been held in Portland.

A Maine news outlet is reporting that The Vacationland RV & Camping Show will continue to make Norway Savings Bank Arena in Auburn, Maine, its home through 2027.

As reported by Christopher Wheelock in the Lewiston Sun Journal, the event, billed as Maine’s largest RV and camping show, is produced by the Maine Campground Owners Association, which represents more than 180 of Maine’s licensed campgrounds and participates in the Maine Hospitality and Tourism Alliance.

“Since the move from Portland, attendance numbers have expanded tremendously,” Kathy Dyer, executive director of the organization, told the newspaper. “Norway Savings Bank Arena is centrally located and much more accessible to the majority of our campground members and RV dealers who attend.”
