Ember Showcases New Products at Overland Expo West

Ember Recreational Vehicles announced it will make a prominent showing at Overland Expo West 2025 in Flagstaff, Arizona, as the brand continues its strategic expansion into the overland and adventure travel segments. In partnership with Wildsam magazine, Ember will feature two purpose-built products designed for the growing market of self-reliant RVers: the rugged and flexible Overland Series 221MSL and the newly launched 2026 E-Series Spark LE 12RK, making its overland debut.

The 221MSL, Ember’s top-selling Overland Series floorplan, showcases the company’s commitment to off-grid capability and durable construction. Built on Ember’s proprietary Trailblazer chassis, the 221MSL incorporates CURT independent trailing-arm suspension with dual shock absorbers and heavy-duty coil springs, paired with Goodyear off-road tires and the innovative Tread Lock wheel brakes. The trailer also includes standard Tire Linc TPMS, Quick Drop stabilizers, and Ember’s exclusive VersaCoupler hitching system designed for hitch height flexibility or optional aftermarket articulating add-ons.

This model also features the upgraded Max Solar Package, offering 1,200 watts of rooftop solar, a 3,000-watt Victron inverter with Cerbo GX communication center, 270Ah Battle Born GameChanger lithium battery and a REDARC DC to DC charger. Ember’s use of the Truma Combi Comfort Plus system helped earn the entire Overland Series Gold-level cold weather certification, making it one of the only full towable lines in North America with that distinction.

Inside, the 221MSL includes Ember’s patent-pending EmberTrack system, providing reconfigurable bunk, storage, and workspace flexibility in the rear “locker” space. Dual-pane acrylic caravan windows with integrated thermal shades and screens, a residential 60” x 80” Murphy bed, and a 10-cubic-foot 12-volt refrigerator complete the package for serious adventure travelers.

Making its public overland debut, the 2026 E-Series Spark LE 12RK expands Ember’s lineup into lighter, more affordable laminated travel trailers while maintaining the company’s signature emphasis on quality and construction. The rear-kitchen floorplan is ideal for entry-level overland enthusiasts and campers seeking lightweight simplicity with smart functionality. The 12RK features Azdel composite laminated construction, Dexter torsion axles, steel step fenders, hitch-mounted full-size spare, a 26-gallon fresh water tank, and Ember’s hallmark build quality in a nimble, towable package. Options like 18k Btu furnace, on-demand water heater, 400 watts of rooftop solar, 2000-watt inverter, Thule roof rack, 270-degree batwing awning, and thermostatically-controlled 12-volt heat pads add versatile flexibility to the lightweight platform.

“We’re proud to continue evolving Ember’s presence in the overland and outdoor lifestyle markets,” said Chris Barth, Ember’s co-founder and chief operating officer. “The 221MSL has earned its place among the most capable towables available today, and the 12RK opens the door for new customers entering the space affordably. Together, they represent our commitment to giving our customers smart, functional and durable options for their outdoor adventures.”

Ember representatives will be on-site throughout Overland Expo West at Booth B49 to provide product walkthroughs and answer questions from interested future owners.
