How does Ritchie mentor or support other employees?
Ritchie is always looking for ways to mentor to people. His nominator says he goes to a local career center looking for the next generation people who are the best and also have a passion for paint. Ritchie loves to listen and counsel people when needed.

What has it meant to work in the RV industry this long?
I have been blessed to work at Newmar Corp. for over 33 years with an incredible team building premium products that will create a lifetime of memories for our wonderful customers. Production is fast paced and teaches you to be creative, flexible and efficient, which has translated in other areas of my life as well. I have had some great mentors through the years, and I will always cherish the friendships I have made along the way.
What advice would do you have for younger people just starting their careers?
Find what you are truly passionate about and go after it wholeheartedly as working for the Lord! Don’t let little setbacks get you down, but learn from them, as they will provide perseverance and can make you even stronger! Don’t ever settle for mediocrity or the “status quo.” Surround yourself with great people and ask lots of questions. Set and track goals that will put you on the path to exceed everyone’s expectations. If you work hard, stay positive and focused, you will have fun celebrating wins along the way, and you will do great things and will also make an impact on others.
