What has it meant to work in the RV industry this long?

Working 42 years at Rich & Sons RV Headquarters means being part of a legacy that shaped the RV industry in Nebraska. Over the years, I have watched the company grow from a small, family-run business into one of the largest RV dealerships in the Midwest. Through the years I have seen major changes in technology and customer expectation, built lasting relationships with customers and getting them to their camping trip. [I have helped] in maintaining the high standards of service that Rich & Sons prides itself on. It’s not just a job — it is a career in problem-solving, craftsmanship and a passion for the RV lifestyle.

What advice do you have for younger people just starting their careers?

Work can be challenging, but sticking with it, learning from your mistakes and staying patient with customers and coworkers will set the foundation for success. People will remember how you made them feel more than anything; taking time to listen and provide top-notch service can lead to loyal customers and solid reputation.
