Dicor Launches Level 3 RVTI Training Classes

Dicor Products, an Airxcel brand, announced it will begin offering RV Technical Institute (RVTI)-approved training classes to RV technicians and service centers on its complete Dicor roof installation process.

The Dicor Roof Installation Technical Training is a comprehensive, two-hour course designed for RV technicians seeking advanced certification and hands-on experience in roof system installation. This Level 3 RVTI Certified training provides in-depth instruction on the complete Dicor roof installation process. Technicians will learn about: Essential tools and materials for proper RV roof installation and application methods; surface preparation techniques including cleaning and assessment; and professional removal of old roofing materials.

“This course covers every step of the installation process, including membrane application, adhesive use, and seam sealing,” said Tracey Viburg, Airxcel director of customer service. “Airxcel has maintained a commitment to offer educational opportunities for RV industry professionals, and this class offering from Dicor joins other classes for Suburban, Aqua-Hot and Coleman-Mach, ensuring that RV techs and service centers can take care of their customers’ needs.”

Advanced RV Roof Repair and Maintenance Training

The specialized course extends beyond basic installation to equip technicians with technical knowledge and practical skills needed to deliver high-quality, leak-free Dicor roof installations including, but not limited to, the following focus areas:

  • Reinstallation of roof fixtures including vents, antennas, and air conditioning units;
  • Professional techniques for common RV roof repairs; and
  • Preventative maintenance methods, troubleshooting and leak prevention strategies to extend roof lifespan.

Registration Open to RV Technicians and Service Professionals

Classes are two hours long and will begin at 1 p.m. Central on the following dates: July 9, July 23, Aug. 6 and Aug. 20.
