The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has issued the following weekly vehicular recall:
Gulf Stream Coach Inc. is recalling certain 2026 Trail Boss and Ameri-Lite trailers. Wires in the taillight harness may be reversed, causing the turn signals to activate in the opposite direction as the driver intended. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, “Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment.” The NHTSA ID number is 26V010000.
Forest River Inc. is recalling certain 2026 Freelander motorhomes. The solar panel wire may have been incorrectly connected to a breaker without over-current protection. Forest River’s number for this recall is 210-2013.
Forest River Inc. is also recalling certain 2023-2026 Forest River Work and Play, 2024-2026 East to West Takoda, Coachmen Chaparral, 2025-2026 Shasta Phoenix, 2023-2025 Forest River Riverstone, 2022-2026 Coachmen Adrenaline, and 2025 Forest River Cedar Creek fifth wheel travel trailers. The ramp door may break away from the door frame while loading or unloading vehicles. Forest River’s number for this recall is 51-2017.
Forest River Bus LLC is recalling certain 2025-2026 Trans Tech school buses. The modified seating floor plan may exceed the rear Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR). As such these vehicles fail to comply with the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 120, “Wheels and Rims – Other Than Passenger Cars.” Forest River Bus’s number for this recall is 05-2015.
Newmar Corporation is recalling certain 2026 Freedom Aire motorhomes equipped with a ThermaHeat Tank Pad. The water tank heating pad may experience high resistance and fail. Newmar’s number for this recall is 622 RSB.
Winnebago Industries Inc. is recalling certain 2024-2026 Spirit, Minnie Winnie, Travato, View, Navion, and 2026-2027 Sunflyer motorhomes equipped with a ThermaHeat Tank Pad. The water tank heating pad may experience high resistance and fail. Winnebago’s number for this recall is 201.
Keystone RV Company is recalling certain 2025-2026 Fuzion, Raptor, Redwood, and 2024-2026 Voltage travel trailers. The ramp door may break away from the door frame while loading or unloading vehicles. Keystone’s number for this recall is 26-478.
