Date Set for Annual All-Industry Volunteer Day

The RV Industry Association recently announced the All-Industry Volunteer Day will be held May 20. The RV industry will once again gather for a day of giving back to the community and industry with the fifth annual Park Improvement Project.

  • This year, volunteers from all sectors of the industry will come together at the Elkhart County Fairgrounds to participate in restoration and enhancement projects to the Fairground’s recreation and campground facilities.

Same program. New structure.

Originally conceived and nurtured by the Emerging Leaders Coalition (ELC), the project has officially “graduated” from its incubator stage.

  • Reflecting the ELC’s mission to cultivate the next generation of leadership, the initiative has now transitioned into a permanent fixture within the RV Industry Association’s committee structure under the Sustainability Committee.
  • While the organizational home has changed, the heart of the project remains the same. RVIA said it was thrilled that volunteer leaders Michilah Grimes of Lippert and Mike Gaeddert of Forest River will continue to spearhead the efforts.

Registration is coming soon. In the meantime, read about previous projects, including the inaugural event in 2022 at Potato Creek State Park, followed up in 2023 at Ox Bow County Park, in 2024 at Chain O’Lakes State Park and last year at Bonneyville Mill County Park.
