OHI Foundation Opens Scholarship Apps for School of Outdoor Hospitality
The OHI Foundation announced that scholarship applications for the George O’Leary National School of Outdoor Hospitality are now open.
The scholarship program is designed to make the National School more accessible for owners, operators and managers who are ready to invest in their professional growth but may face barriers to attending.
Each scholarship covers full tuition plus a $500 credit toward room and board. The remaining balance for room, board, travel and other related expenses remains the responsibility of the recipient.
The deadline to apply is June 30, and scholarship recipients will be announced the week of Aug. 10.
“One of the greatest privileges of the OHI Foundation is being able to put opportunities like this within reach for more people in our industry,” said Terry Munoz, chair of the OHI Foundation Board. “The George O’Leary National School of Outdoor Hospitality is exceptional, and we’re honored to help fund your path there.”
The George O’Leary National School of Outdoor Hospitality will take place Feb. 21–26, 2027, at Oglebay Resort in Wheeling, West Virginia. The program offers two tracks: Outdoor Hospitality Manager (OHM) Year 1 for emerging and current managers, and Outdoor Hospitality Professional (OHP) Year 2 for experienced professionals ready to think strategically about growth and leadership.
“Attending the [George O’Leary National School] in Wheeling, West Virginia was an incredible experience,” said Douglas Davis of Douglas Forest RV Resort. “The event was a masterclass in hospitality excellence, and I walked away with new connections, fresh ideas and a renewed drive to elevate my own projects.”
