RICH SOLAR introduced its new series of MINI 12V lithium batteries.
The new series includes the 314Ah ALPHA 3 MINI and the 460Ah ALPHA 6 MINI. Both batteries combine high-capacity storage, built-in heating, Bluetooth monitoring and 200-amp performance in compact enclosures designed for RVs, vans, boats, cabins, backup power and off-grid applications.
The ALPHA 3 MINI provides 4,019Wh of nominal energy in a package measuring just 15.1 by 7.6 by 9.9 inches. It is approximately 40% smaller by volume than standard 12-volt 314Ah batteries, giving installers greater flexibility in systems where available space is limited.
For applications requiring longer runtimes, the ALPHA 6 MINI delivers 5,888Wh of energy from a single 460Ah battery. One ALPHA 6 MINI occupies approximately 42% less space than two ALPHA 2 200Ah batteries while providing an additional 60Ah of capacity. Its single-battery design can also reduce cabling, connections and installation complexity compared with multi-battery configurations.
Both ALPHA MINI batteries feature:
- More than 5,000 charge cycles using long-lasting LiFePO₄ cells
- Maximum charge and continuous discharge currents of 200 amps
- Internal 100-watt heating for charging in freezing conditions
- Smart battery-management systems with electrical and thermal protection
- Bluetooth monitoring through the RICH SOLAR app
- Parallel expansion supporting as many as four batteries
- IP65 protection against dust and water
- UL94 V-0 flame-retardant housings
- UN38.3 and MSDS certifications
- Five-year warranties
Through the RICH SOLAR app, users can monitor important operating data, including state of charge, voltage, current, temperature, cycle count and system status, from a compatible mobile device.
The ALPHA 3 MINI is suited to installations prioritizing a smaller footprint and lower weight, while the ALPHA 6 MINI is designed for users seeking maximum runtime and capacity from a single 12-volt battery. Connecting four units in parallel can expand the ALPHA 3 MINI system to 1,256Ah or the ALPHA 6 MINI system to 1,840Ah.
The ALPHA 3 MINI and ALPHA 6 MINI are available through RICH SOLAR and its authorized sales channels.
