Care Camps Foundation: Sponsor a Glow Stick To Break a World Record

Under The Stars: Where Hope Makes Light — an inaugural event hosted by Care Camps Foundation‘s Young Professionals Board — is around the corner. Don’t miss the chance to be part of a world record attempt that will help send more kids with cancer to camp!
The three-day fundraising and community-building event will take place Dec. 4-6 at Lazydays RV Resort in Tampa, Florida. The weekend will be packed with activities, culminating in an attempt to create a continuous chain of 45,000 glow sticks — representing the number of children and family members served annually by the pediatric oncology camps Care Camps Foundations supports across the U.S. and Canada.

“Behind every light is a child, parent or sibling who can find joy, belonging and community at camp,” Care Camps representatives said. “Your support helps make camp possible for children with cancer at no cost to their families. These safe, medically supervised camps give kids a place to enjoy outdoor fun, make friends and simply be kids.”
With a suggested donation of $10 per glow stick, you can help grow the chain:
- $10 sponsors 1 glow stick.
- $50 sponsors 5 glow sticks.
- $100 sponsors 10 glow sticks.
So far, 9,005 glow sticks have been sponsored toward the board’s goal of 45,000. Sponsor a glow stick and join the chain here.
“You do not need to attend to be part of the attempt. Sponsor glow sticks for yourself, your family, your team or your business, and invite others to join you.”
Sponsorship is open through Dec. 5, but please give today. Your early support helps us prepare and build momentum toward this meaningful night.
