Robert Barber has been named president of Dealer Resources Group. He began with the company in 2005 as Dealer Resources Group’s southeast division general manager.
Barber had many years of experience in the market he serves, as a distributor sales representative with Coast Distribution for more than eight years, and with Arrow for the three years before joining Dealer Resources Group.
Prior to that, Barber also owned and operated a dealership in Clearwater, Fla., and served as parts manager for several major RV dealers, including Lazydays.
In 2007, Barber’s commitment to the firm was rewarded by becoming the second sales associate to be made a partner through DRG’s partnership program. In 2008, he was promoted to VP of national sales.
