Kansas-based Airxcel has appointed industry veteran Kevin L. Phillips as executive vice president.
Phillips will be focused on seeking out acquisition opportunities, scaling Airxcel globally, and managing strategic projects.
“Kevin brings to this new assignment over 27 years of OEM and aftermarket experience in the auto and RV industries,” said Jeff Rutherford, Airxcel’s president and CEO. “Airxcel is excited to have Kevin join the Airxcel team in this senior management position.”
Phillips has been an active industry leader, holding board positions on the RV Industry Association since 2009.
Prior to joining Airxcel, Phillips had been president of Thetford Corp. and held senior positions at Guardian Automotive, GKN Sinter Metals and Delphi Automotive. He has a bachelor’s from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.
