Erie RV Show Kicks Off
For traveling aficionados, there’s one surefire way of beating winter and expunging cabin fever from your daily regimen — a trip to the Erie, Pa., RV Show at the Bayfront Convention Center.
The four-day event, which began on Thursday and continues through Sunday, features about 60 recreational vehicles from four regional RV dealers, ATVs, motorcycles and information from more than 20 regional campgrounds, according to GoErie.com.
Edinboro residents Melanie Baker, 37, and her husband, Andrew, 42, brought their two children to Thursday’s show to check out travel trailers and invariably ended up taking a tour of a 36-foot-long Coachmen Mirada Class A motorhome, priced at $114,094, from North East-based Ray Wakley’s Car Care & RV Center.
Twenty units from the Ray Wakley dealership are on display, ranging in price from a $12,995 travel trailer to the behemoth Coachmen motorhome.
