Mission Hills, Calif.-based Valterra Products is offering free kits with RV necessities to travel nurses and healthcare workers who are members of a related Facebook group.
The “Adventures in RV Travel Nursing/Healthcare” page started in 2014 to connect RV-traveling healthcare professionals. The group grew substantially at the pandemic’s start, boasting almost 25,000 members who seek and provide tips, advice and questions about healthcare traveling and RVing.
Upon learning of the group’s work, Valterra is offering its support by providing members with a free kit containing RV toilet paper, disposable dump gloves and tank treatments.
“Staffing shortages have been abundant during the pandemic,” Valterra said in a statement. “These traveling nursing/healthcare workers are a vital source of needed coverage where COVID-19 surges hit the hardest.”
RV-traveling healthcare workers can request to join the private Facebook group here by clicking “Join group” and answering questions.
“This group shows the amazing heart that traveling nursing/healthcare has and is such a big part of the RV community,” Valterra said.
