Created with GIMPStromberg Carlson said it has begun shipping its newly designed and domestically made Bunk Ladder for RVs. While Stromberg Carlson has been in the bunk ladder business for more than 10 years, that product line has previously been shipped in from China. Not so for these new ladders.
“Over the past 12 months, we have been busy buying equipment, tools and dies to re-shore a solid product line here at our plant in Traverse City,” said Bob Brammer, president of Stromberg. “A lot of things have played a role in this, including logistical problems bring products in from offshore. Our aluminum is from the U.P. of Michigan, all the plastic parts are made in-house, and we have designed this product to warehouse and retail in 20 of the space it did before. By shipping our ladders un-assembled we save space, keep the packaging in great shape and deliver a great quality product.”
The new 2021 Bunk Ladder line is shipped in two sizes: 60 and 66 inches and two colors: bright silver and black.
“We’ve included a QR code on each package with an instructional video, and have it posted on our YouTube Channel and our website. With only 10 nuts and bolts, it doesn’t take 10 minutes to assemble and use our newly design bunk ladder,” said Brammer.
