Newmar announced today at the 2024 Elkhart Dealer Open House its latest innovation: the 2026 Grand Star Super C.
The new Grand Star Super C model reflects Newmar’s customer-centered development approach and ongoing commitment to delivering premium experiences for both seasoned RV enthusiasts and those new to the lifestyle, the company said.
As the Super C market continues to expand, Newmar identified a key opportunity to make an RV that offers first-time RVers an approachable, well-appointed motorhome with all the hallmarks of Newmar quality. The Grand Star Super C boasts the shortest motorhome floor plan on the market built on the Freightliner S2RV chassis, ensuring a comfortable, easy-to-maneuver vehicle that fits effortlessly into a variety of camping and storage spaces.
“The 2026 Grand Star Super C represents a thoughtful evolution in Newmar’s product line,” said Matt Ellinger, Newmar’s vice president of sales. “We’ve listened to our customers and dealers, and it’s clear there’s a need for a motorhome that combines elegance, durability and ease of use at an accessible entry point. The Grand Star is that motorhome.”
With models ranging from 34 to 39 feet, bunk and bath-and-a-half models, the Grand Star motorhome is designed to cater to everyone, from families to empty nesters and beyond.
Key features of the 2026 Grand Star Super C include:
- Freightliner S2RV chassis powered by 360 horsepower and 800 pound/feet of torque, with up to 12,000 pounds of towing capacity.
- Innovative construction, including an upper steel frame truss and a lighter-weight basement frame using steel and galvanized metal, ensuring durability without excess weight.
- King-sized bed, bunk bed configurations and bath-and-a-half models that offer flexibility for various lifestyles.

- Three stylish décor options, three striking full exterior paint graphics and four elegant cabinet finishes, including two-tone combinations.
- An 18-cubic-foot residential refrigerator, microwave convection oven with air fryer and optional features like a dishwasher, induction cooktop and Starlink internet system.

In addition to elegant finishes, the Grand Star Super C offers a variety of amenities designed for ultimate comfort and convenience. These include an exterior entertainment center with a sound bar, a 12,000-pound rear hitch for towing and options like lithium batteries, theater seating and a Truma Comfort Plus continuous-flow water heater. The Polar Pak R19 batten insulation ensures the coach is ready for all-season travel, and the Carefree Travel’R power side awning with Alumaguard and strip lighting provides a welcoming outdoor living space.
As part of its debut, the Grand Star Super C will be available for order immediately, with floor plans and customizations to suit a wide range of preferences.
