Flagg RV, one of New England’s RV dealerships, will open its rental division at its Uxbridge, Mass., location.
Starting July 1, Flagg will offer rental RVs featuring 2019 model Chateau motorhomes ranging in size from 24- to 32-feet long and sleeping from four up to seven people.
“More and more people are interested in enjoying the RV lifestyle and by renting first, before buying, it gives these folks a great opportunity to see what everyone is raving about,” said General Manager Steve Flagg. “We are pleased to have the newest fleet of RV rentals in central Massachusetts.”
These Chateau brand units feature TV, DVD player, stereo system with Bluetooth, cruise control, A/C, electric awning, dinette table, full bathroom, queen bed, sofa and bunks that are specific to each unit, shower, toilet, microwave oven, refrigerator, and a cook top. They also include LP for one week, chemicals, toilet paper, fresh water hoses, waste hoses, and electrical connections.
Flagg is in the middle of a record year for RV sales, according to Flagg.
“Based on phone inquiries about the rentals, many of the calls come from people who live in cities, where they don’t have space to store an RV year-round, but yet still want to enjoy the family fun around a campfire,” said Flagg.
For those rental customers who then purchase an RV from Flagg, an amount of up to $1,000 of the rental fee will be put toward the purchase fee, although certain time restrictions apply.
Each rental features 100 free miles per day.
