Gettysburg/Battlefield KOA Holiday Completes Campground Enhancement

Kampgrounds of America, Inc. (KOA) announced that the Gettysburg / Battlefield KOA Holiday has completed a significant campground enhancement project, including a property-wide electrical upgrade bringing 30/50-amp service to all RV sites, adding new KOA Patio RV Sites, upgrading additional RV sites and enhancing Wi-Fi.

Developed throughout the 2026 season, the project represents a major investment in the campground and guest experience. Electrical infrastructure was upgraded across the entire property, bringing all RV sites to 30/50-amp service and better accommodating the power needs of today’s RV travelers. Additional improvements include new KOA Patio RV Sites, enhancements to existing RV sites, upgraded campground Wi-Fi, commercial-grade fire features, outdoor seating and thoughtfully designed gathering spaces for relaxing, dining outdoors and enjoying the campground’s setting just minutes from Gettysburg National Military Park.

“We’re always looking for ways to enhance the guest experience while creating spaces where families and friends can make lasting memories together,” said Nate Thompson, partner at KCN Campgrounds. “Upgrading the entire campground to 30/50-amp electrical service was a significant investment in the property, and together with our new KOA Patio Sites, additional site improvements and upgraded Wi-Fi, it allows us to better meet the needs of today’s RV travelers while giving guests even more ways to relax and enjoy everything that makes camping in Gettysburg so special.”
