KING Unveils New Roof-Mounted Automatic Satellite Antenna
KING debuted its most recent innovation in antennas at Open House Week in Elkhart, Indiana. The company said its new antenna solution will provide RVers with the same level of satellite connectivity on the road that they enjoy at home.
The KING Phoenix Automatic Roof-Mounted Satellite Antenna System offers RVers consumers an easy-to-use push-button controller, access to full 4K HD programming simultaneously on multiple satellites, and an industry leading two-year parts, two-year labor warranty.
According to KING, the roof-mounted antenna is capable of powering multiple residential-style satellite receiver/DVR units inside the RV. The company claims it is also the lightest-weight antenna in class, allowing for greater ease of installation. The residential-style reflector improves satellite signal strength, virtually eliminating rain fade issues and features a stowed height of just eight inches.
“The KING Phoenix creates a new competitive offering in this space and will ultimately add to the overall sales volume of mobile satellite antennas,” said Tom Dewaard, vice president of sales and marketing for KING. “People (at Open House) have been thanking us for bringing this product to market. We believe customers will appreciate the robust design, ease of operation, best-in-class signal strength, and most of all, the ability to create an at-home entertainment experience wherever they go.”
Currently offered with separate electronics kits for acquiring Dish or DirecTV signals, the KING Phoenix will also offer solutions for Canadian satellite carriers Bell and Shaw TV in 2023.
