Lippert, a supplier of a broad array of highly engineered components for OEMs in the recreation and transportation product markets, has debuted its Bluetooth RV door lock as the latest addition to Lippert’s collection of RV safety products.

The Lippert RV door lock features Bluetooth technology, which allows owners to lock and unlock their rig’s entry door using a smartphone. It uses proximity sensors to register location and will provide remote locking and unlocking access through the OneControl app. The lock also provides audible feedback for successful locking and unlocking functions. In addition, the Bluetooth RV door lock is equipped with two methods for entry in case of smart device failure or dead batteries: a keypad, which illuminates at night for full-button visibility, and standard keys.

RV owners can use the OneControl app to set different battery modes for their Bluetooth RV lock. Normal mode is for basic operation, while Storage mode can be turned on when the camper is in storage and the app will no longer control the lock. Low Power mode reduces battery consumption by 30% to extend battery life. The OneControl app conveniently tracks the door lock’s battery life.

“The keyless RV door lock with Bluetooth is a great new option for RV owners seeking safety for their family and their belongings,” stated Mark Boessler, senior vice president of aftermarket sales. “With multiple entry options, this great new product is a perfect upgrade for any travel trailer or fifth wheel owner.”
