The Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association (RVDA) of Canada, in partnership with NTP-STAG Canada, announced Mark Passmore as the top recipient of the 2025–2026 NTP-STAG Canada RV Technician Bursary, receiving the grand prize of $5,000.
Passmore, a dedicated 3rd-year apprentice at Jerry’s RV, was selected for his exceptional commitment to professional growth, hands-on excellence and passion for the Canadian RV industry, RVDA of Canada said.
The NTP-STAG Canada Bursary Program provides critical financial support to eligible RV service technicians and dealership fixed operations personnel across Canada. Designed to help offset educational expenses, cover school costs and assist with purchasing essential job tools, the initiative recognizes those who are actively investing in their skills and the future of the industry.
Since 2017, NTP-STAG Canada has contributed more than $103,500 toward these bursary programs, helping RV professionals invest in tools, training and continued growth both in school and on the job.
“Winning this bursary is a massive milestone in my apprenticeship journey. I am deeply grateful to the RVDA of Canada and NTP-STAG Canada for investing in the next generation of technicians. Thanks to NTP-STAG Canada’s generous support, apprentices like myself have the resources we need to master our craft, tackle complex new technologies and keep the rolling realms safely on the road,” said Passmore.
Support from industry partners like NTP-STAG Canada plays a crucial role in maintaining high service standards across Canadian dealerships by empowering technicians as RV technologies continue to evolve.
