NATDA Trailer Show Update Regarding Recent Rumors

The North American Trailer Dealers Association has issued the following statement regarding what it said has been false information circulating about its upcoming annual show in October.

“Dear Valued Member of the Trailer Industry,

It has recently come to the NATDA’s attention that false information regarding exhibitors pulling out of the 2020 NATDA Trailer Show began to surface earlier this week. Upon hearing the rumors, NATDA Executive Director Jesse Battle called all the rumored companies, including Big Tex Trailers, Bravo Trailers, Legend Manufacturing, M.H. Eby, and Sure-Trac by Novae.

NATDA is pleased to announce that the rumors are false. As of today, each of these manufacturers have voiced their commitment to exhibiting at the 2020 NATDA Trailer Show in Nashville on Oct. 26 to 28 should the city be at the appropriate phase.

“We’re very pleased with the number of exhibitors sticking by our side, including some of the biggest names in the industry. Like everyone, we have our eyes on Nashville. As of the current schedule, the city is expected to be fully operational for almost two months prior the start of our show,” said Battle. “However, we will continue to hold regular meetings with Nashville’s delegation, who are currently pleased with the city’s progress, and analyze everything on a week-to-week basis to ensure the safest possible environment for both dealers and exhibitors.”

Along with instituting the CDC’s recommended guidelines alongside the Music City Center, NATDA has enacted several other precautions to further provide a safe show for all in attendance.

NATDA’s Senior Membership Manager, Melanie Bierweiler, has been on the front lines of the NATDA Trailer Show efforts. For several weeks, Bierweiler has been calling dealers directly to speak to them about the show’s viability.

“Our dealers are excited to get back to Nashville this year,” Bierweiler said. “They’re ecstatic about the show’s new dates and, barring a change of course in Nashville’s COVID cases, the majority of those registered have re-confirmed their intention to attend the 2020 NATDA Trailer Show.”
