Registration is open for the George O’Leary National School of Outdoor Hospitality in Oglebay, West Virginia. In its 31st year, this week-long program offers an opportunity for outdoor hospitality professionals to learn the competencies necessary to operate a thriving outdoor hospitality business.

Taught by industry experts focusing on business management principles and practices as applied to the industry, students will learn to elevate their skills, expand their networks, and contribute positively to the outdoor hospitality industry.

“The George O’Leary National School of Outdoor Hospitality isn’t just about gaining knowledge;   about forging connections,” says Susan Motley, vice president of member programs at OHI. “I’m looking forward to seeing familiar faces and meeting new ones who share a passion for outdoor hospitality.”

First-time attendees receive foundational knowledge about key trends in the industry, management principles and more all culminating in their Outdoor Hospitality Management (OHM) certificate. Students returning for year two will engage in critical industry analysis and application activities that earn them their Outdoor Hospitality Professional (OHP) certificate. To achieve the OHM or OHP certificate, attendees must participate in all classes.

The registration fee includes industry expert-led instruction, all classroom materials (provided electronically), daily meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday through Thursday), and a certificate of completion.

There are limited spots available for this program. Once the seats are filled, registration will close. To learn more about or register, visit ohi.org/nationalschool.
