RVDA of Canada Webinar To Share Parts Department Strategies
The Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association (RVDA) of Canada is hosting an exclusive webinar designed to help RV dealerships transform their parts departments into consistent drivers of profit and efficiency.
Featuring Fixed Operations Expert Sara Clements-Hey, president of Bob Clements International, the interactive session will focus on bringing fixed operations out of the background and equipping parts leaders with the tools they need to succeed.
For too long, parts departments have been pushed to the sidelines, with many dealership executives unaware of what a truly efficient and profitable operation should look like. However, industry leaders are increasingly recognizing that fixed operations holds the key to overall dealership health and long-term customer satisfaction.
“Most parts managers I meet got the job because they were the best person in the parts department,” said Clements-Hey. “Somebody handed them inventory accuracy, obsolescence, hiring, and marketing, and told them good luck. No one ever taught them how to run a department. And a parts department that’s run right is one of the most profitable, most consistent things in a dealership. That’s why we’re doing this webinar. It’s an hour, and it’s the place to start.”
“Sales might drive the initial deal, but the parts department is the operational hub that keeps the entire dealership moving,” says Anita Lien, director of marketing and communications of the RVDA of Canada. “While a technician’s role is highly technical, managing parts requires an equally specialized skill set. An accomplished Parts Manager must balance inventory precision, regulatory compliance, and market trends with strategic pricing and sourcing. Fixed operations is finally receiving the strategic focus it deserves, and Sara Clements-Hey will show our dealers exactly how to transform their parts departments into high-performing profit centers.”
Clements-Hey brings a lifetime of hands-on industry experience to the session. Having grown up in the dealership world, she pairs her deep operational background with a degree in psychology — a combination she utilizes to help family-run dealerships, manufacturers and fixed operations teams resolve internal friction and build processes that stick. Over her decade-plus leadership career, she has built a national reputation for turning parts and service departments into powerhouse profit centers.
For Canadian dealers looking to get a jumpstart on their operational strategy before the fall, this webinar also offers a preview of the high-energy expertise Clements-Hey will bring to the upcoming 2026 RV Dealers Convention/Expo. Attendees in the Convention’s Fixed Operations track will be able to catch her leading two featured sessions: “Amazon Isn’t Your Problem. Your Parts Strategy Is” and “Why Your Best Technicians Are Leaving, Why Pizza Won’t Fix It, and What Actually Will.”
Registration for the one-hour webinar is now open to all RVDA of Canada members and industry professionals looking to strengthen their dealership’s bottom line.
