The RV Technician Association of America (RVTAA) and the National RV Inspectors Association (NRVIA) announce the appointment of Destiny Rounsavall as the new executive assistant to Director of Associations Shenika Lyons.
Rounsavall’s tenure with the National RV Training Academy (NRVTA) began in May 2020, where she served as the billing coordinator. Over nearly four years, she has demonstrated unwavering commitment to supporting certified RV technicians and inspectors, contributing to the professional development and continuing education initiatives that uphold industry standards.
“Destiny has always been the kind of person who steps in without hesitation, ready to help wherever she’s needed,” said Lyons. “When the opportunity came up to expand our team, she was my first choice — without question. As RVTAA and NRVIA continue to grow, we needed someone with energy, heart and a genuine desire to make things better. Destiny brings all of that and more. Her passion for service, attention to detail, and positive attitude will help us strengthen the association and the community we serve.”
In her new role, Rounsavall will play a pivotal part in enhancing member support, fostering community engagement and streamlining administrative operations. Her efforts will directly contribute to the associations’ missions of promoting RV service excellence and upholding rigorous RV inspection standards.
“I’ve been with NRVTA for nearly four years, and it’s been such a rewarding journey,” Rounsavall said. “Transitioning into this new role has been an exciting next step, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue growing with this amazing team. I look forward to contributing in new ways and supporting our members every step of the way.”
Outside of work, Destiny is a devoted wife and mother to two energetic daughters, balancing her professional responsibilities with a vibrant family life.
The RVTAA and NRVIA teams are confident that Rounsavall’s dedication and expertise will further their commitment to excellence in the RV industry.
